wrad 2026
World Read Aloud Day is February 4, 2026 and I'm excited to offer a few FREE virtual visits!
WRAD is sponsored by LitWorld and is an annual celebration of reading and literacy. If you would like me to read to your students, please fill out this Google Form.
Visits are 15-20 minutes and the ideal audience is upper elementary or middle school students (grades 3-8). I'll read from my most recent middle grade fantasy, Kingdom of Dust (HarperCollins/Quill Tree Books) and answer questions from students.
If my available slots fill up, I hope you'll consider scheduling a in-person or virtual visit for another time. Information is available on my Speaking page.

The Center for African Studies at Howard University is the institutional base for the Awards. Read more... |
